Orchestra Santa Monica

Founded in the Fall of 2012, OSM performs four full orchestra concerts per year. The orchestra keeps its musical programming varied, presenting both standard repertoire and less-traditional works, and introducing culturally-diverse composers and soloists as well as new and exciting contemporary pieces.

The My Hero Project

The mission of MY HERO is to use media, art and technology to celebrate the best of humanity and to empower people of all ages to realize their own potential to effect positive change in the world.

Young Storytellers Foundation

The Young Storytellers Foundation develops literacy through the art of storytelling. Using group exercises and one-on-one mentoring, we provide underserved children in the public school system an opportunity to write stories and see them brought to life through performance and film production.

Writers Bloc presents

Writers Bloc serves to expand the general public’s access to and understanding of literature through community-based programs featuring writers, thinkers, public figures and others in conversation on fictional and nonfictional work.

KJAZZ

KKJZ 88.1 and Global Jazz are committed to the promotion and preservation of the rich cultural heritages of Jazz and Blues through engaging, inspiring and informative programming that satisfies the most dedicated music aficionados, while attracting newcomers of all ages.
